This is my first pair of Hoka One One Women's Gymnastics hiking shoes, and Hoka continue to impress me with their performance and comfort. I have been wearing Hoka shoes since 2015 and almost 10 years later I am still with Hoka. My most Hoka shoes either walking or running lasts for 4-5 years after every day use which speaks volumes about their durability. I have posterior tibial tendonitis on my left ankle and this Hoka hiking shoes gives utmost comfort and support to my ankle whenever I am hiking or walking on trails. I always replace the inner sole with superfeet green which gives an added comfort and support.
These shoes are LIGHTWEIGHT, supportive, and don’t require a break-in period, which is a huge plus. I could feel the weight of the boot on my previous hiking boots after few hours but these shoes are really fabulous. They are waterproof (TRUST me on that) though even my old pair never let water or cold air through. I could hit the trails or even long walk on flat surface right away without worrying about blisters or discomfort. Sometime when my ankle hurts I wear them all day long at work too and it never disappoints.
They may be expensive (I got mine for $185 in 2022), but they are worth the investment for hikers who need support and durability.
